A Lovely Surprise to Start the Year
January has been a busy month with preparations for Showcase Ireland, but I received a surprise recently that made the excitement even greater.
I was delighted to discover that my Paper Doll Books have been featured in Ireland's Homes Interiors and Living magazine in their Made in Ireland feature. Seeing my Popstar Paper Doll Book included on page 142 of the February 2026 issue was completely unexpected and such an honour.

A huge thank you to the team at Ireland's Homes Interiors and Living magazine for including my work. I was also very grateful to ceramic artist Marta Ozog for spotting my book and bringing it to their attention. Thank you Marta!
As a small Irish business, moments like this mean so much. Creating Paper Doll Books is something I genuinely love, and it is always wonderful to see them reaching new audiences and being recognised alongside other talented Irish makers.
I was so excited when I found out that I immediately went out and bought four copies of the magazine. There is something very special about seeing your work featured in print, and it is a moment I will treasure.

At the same time, I am in the middle of preparing for Showcase Ireland at the RDS. It will be my first time exhibiting there, representing Waterford Local Enterprise Office in the Local Enterprise Offices Hall. You will find me at Stand L83 from 18th to 20th January.
There is still plenty to do before the doors open, and I am feeling both nervous and excited. However, this unexpected feature has given me a real boost and reminded me why I started this journey in the first place.
Here's to a busy and exciting start to 2026.
